Di Lusso is a boutique vineyard, winery and restaurant in Mudgee New South Wales, inspired by the wines and foods of Italy. From the di Lusso cellar door on the northern outskirts of Mudgee, all wines, olive oil and figs are available for tasting six days a week. On Fridays and weekends, the wood fired oven literally 'runs hot' with great pizzas, and there is an excellent menu, and on weekdays, tasting plates and cheese plates are there to tempt visitors.

Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve

Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve

Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve is a particularly important place for Wiradjuri people. The second oldest nature reserve in Australia is steeped in Aboriginal heritage. It protects an area of sandstone pagoda country where striking natural rock formations jut from the bushland-like ancient ruins. Best viewed from the lookout, bring your walking boots and follow Castle Rocks walk. Pack a picnic lunch and have a meal with a view or return to Moolarben picnic area for a barbecue as a reward for your efforts.


The Drip - Ulan

The Drip - Ulan

The Great Dripping Wall is a large natural sandstone formation situated on the Goulburn River near Ulan. Water runs down from the surrounding hillsides, seeps through the high rock gorges and drips into the pools below. The Drip is a very popular spot for bushwalking, swimming, painting and photography. In its heyday during the Gold rush, Gulgong had a population of over 20,000 people and was the largest alluvial goldfield in NSW, producing over 15,000Kg of gold! Today, Gulgong is hailed as one of the finest preserved towns from the bygone gold rush days. The industry is a major regional employer and is included in the Central Ranges viticultural zone and parts of the Western Plains viticultural zone.
